Kathleen over at Grosgrain is so talented...and super-generous! She creates fabulous outfits for her daughters (her youngest is just a couple months younger than my Maggie!) and then gives them away! I LOVE the newest Wandering Waif outfit! I can see it on Maggie now! I’d have to spruce up my own outfits to keep up with that! I’m hoping that I’m picked! Fingers crossed, knocking on wood, searching for four leaf clovers, and whatever else will bring me good luck! Did I really just end every sentence with an exclamation point? Yeah, I’m that kind of person.

As my first entry into blogland, I must say that I’m nervous and excited about putting myself “out there” into the cyberworld. I’ve enjoyed reading other people’s blogs for so long that I’ve finally decided to create my own. Actually, it’s been on my mind for quite some time but it took me almost a full year to finally decide upon a name for my website. After searching on godaddy for all of my recent picks and finding them all taken, I went to bed one night kind of crushed. That’s when it hit me. I was lying in bed thinking of my favorite blogs and their names and I decided that I wanted to incorporate my last name in a crafty way (pun intended) and Rawe Material was born...well, about 4 months later. I’m slow at this web building game.

I hope that you like (although it’s fine if you dislike) what I have to say. (I’d add a smiling face here but, again, I’m new to the whole web thing. I’ll get it soon and this blog will hopefully look a whole lot more interesting!)
